Description:

My client is on the lookout for a Data Protection Assistant to join their small friendly team based in Milton Keynes. You will work closely with the Head of Compliance and Data Protection Manager ensuring the Data, Compliance, and day to day administration in the team is supported to a high level. You may come from a background in social care, education or similar and want a change, and/or just graduated.


As the Data Protection Assistant, you will be responsible for covering a wide range of data protection responsibilities, partnering with internal stakeholders and being mentored by a manager who believes in development and where personal growth is celebrated.


Role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:



  • Maintain records of processing activities

  • Minute taking

  • Data collation, analysis and processing and query resolution

  • Co-ordinating reports for submission to external and internal bodies

  • Support the Head of Compliance with providing advice for any Data Protection matters

  • Supporting the review of data protection clauses

  • Creating and promoting GDPR best practice



You must Have the following:



  • Have excellent verbal and written communication

  • Able to manage complex data

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Be self motivated and data driven

  • Have passion for compliance and data

  • Knowledge and understanding of data protection legislation would be an advantage

  • Excellent MS Office skills
