Field Engineering Supervisor – Permanent – Fareham

Can you lead a team to achieve completion of tasks and activities?



Our client is a leading company in the UK, manufacturing and supplying products of the highest performance and quality. They want to recruit for this full time role urgently.



As the Field Engineering Supervisor, your role will include both site based engineering works and also office duties. You will lead a small team of engineers, responsible for attending customer site and providing engineering support on a range of electro-mechanical equipment. This role will take you to some of the most interesting and unique places, not accessible to the general public.



Responsibilities:



  • Tasks involve maintaining, servicing, installation and repairs of primarily electrical customer equipment.

  • Conducting risk assessments and method statements for planned works

  • Leading a team of engineers, providing technical support and allocating work duties

  • Liaising with stakeholders on site to answer any questions




Qualifications:



  • 18th edition course

  • NVQ Level 3 Engineering - minimum



About you:



  • Proficiency: 80% electrical, 20% mechanical (mechanical experience preferred but not mandatory).

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role required.

  • Full Driving License

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Good team player

  • Excellent problem solver who can communicate effectively

  • Willingness and desire to learn new skills and invest in professional development
