Payroll Administrator 
 
Based near Andover  
 
Monday - Friday 10.00 - 16.00 
 
Salary: £19,000 -£21,000 
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join a well-established, forward thinking Accountancy firm based in Andover. We are looking for people who possess excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with clients and being the first point of contact. You will be required to support our Payroll Officers by providing administrative support. The company offer great progression opportunities and will work with you on your strength 
 
Role and Responsibilities: 
 
Ensure that adequate and accurate payroll records are maintained at all timesSupporting the payroll team including the verification of time sheets and issuing payslipsDealing with HMRC queriesUnderstanding the principles of auto-enrolmentProcessing of new starters/leavers on the systemChecking payroll hours on a weekly/monthly basisCheck all figures are authorised to payingPay salaries via BACSPension uploadsHaving responsibility for getting new companies onto the system and registered with HMRCProviding support for payroll queriesConfident telephone manner 
 
Experience and Skills: 
 
HMRC and Auto-Enrolment: 1 yearPayroll administration: 1 yearPrevious payroll experienceKnowledge of SAGE/Xero/My Paye desirableExcellent organisation and time management skills
