Overview
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating saw equipment to cut and prepare materials with precision and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on skills to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Duties

• Operate various types of saw machinery to cut sheet metal and other materials according to specified measurements and tolerances.


• Set up and adjust saws, tooling, and fixtures to ensure accurate cuts.


• Perform grinding, welding, and assembly tasks as required during the fabrication process.


• Utilise hand tools and tooling to complete tasks related to material preparation and finishing.


• Conduct basic measurements and calculations using standard mathematical skills to verify dimensions.


• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.


• Assist with quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.


• Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, supporting continuous workflow.

Experience

• Previous experience in operating bench saws or similar machinery


• A proactive approach to learning new skills and techniques is essential.

Temp to Perm contract

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.30am - 6.30pm
