Wild Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join a leading national distribution company based in Portsmouth (Hilsea). This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for flexible shifts, competitive pay, and the potential for long-term employment.
Night shifts, start time between 22:00 and 02:00
Fixed shift patterns available
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift (Umbrella)
Operate refrigerated Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
Predominantly motorway driving
Nationwide deliveries to retailers and wholesalers
Complete delivery documentation accurately
Adhere to company policies and transport legislation
Occasional manual handling required
Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E
Valid Digi Tacho and CPC card
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
Ability to pass a 2-day assessment (includes driving test, Highway Code, H&S training)
Day 1: Driving assessment, Highway code, tacho and Bridge test
Day 2: Health & Safety, operational briefing, role expectations
High-Vis vest
Safety boots
Safety gloves
