CNC Milling Machinist – Aerospace Manufacturing

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer and take your CNC machining career to the next level!
Wild Recruitment is seeking experienced CNC Milling Machinists to support precision engineering projects for the aerospace sector.

Contract: Until July 2027

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate 3/4/5-axis CNC milling machines.


• Interpret complex aerospace engineering drawings and process specifications.


• Manufacture components to exact tolerances and surface finishes.


• Perform in-process inspections using precision instruments (micrometres, verniers, bore gauges).


• Maintain machines and tools through routine cleaning and servicing.


• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.


• Follow all Health & Safety and Quality Assurance procedures.


• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to ensure compliance with design intent and customer requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines in aerospace or precision engineering.


• Ability to adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds for optimal performance.


• Strong skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.


• Familiarity with AS9100 standards (preferred).


• Competent in using precision measuring equipment and maintaining accurate records.


• Detail-oriented, quality-driven, and proactive.


• Able to work independently and as part of a team.


• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / CNC Machining (preferred).
