Monday to Friday
£26,000 - £28,000
Wild Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a highly reputable legal firm in their search for a a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support their Residential Conveyancing team. This role involves assisting fee earners with the day-to-day management of property transactions, ensuring smooth progression from instruction to completion.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conveyancing support, excellent organisational skills, and a client-focused approach. You’ll play a key role in maintaining files, preparing documentation, and liaising with clients and third parties.
Assist with the management of residential property files from instruction to post-completion
Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
Carry out searches and ID checks
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
Maintain accurate records and update case management systems
Support fee earners with administrative tasks and file management
Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally and promptly
Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
Previous experience in a legal assistant or conveyancing support role (minimum of 6 months essential)
Understanding of residential property transactions and legal terminology
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Office and legal case management systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
