Quality Inspector (Powder Coating)

Location: Havant
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:15pm | Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Contract Type: Ongoing Temporary Position

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and previous experience inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect powder-coated components and finished products for quality, appearance, and finish.


• Check coating thickness, coverage, colour consistency, and overall surface quality.


• Identify and report defects including runs, scratches, contamination, orange peel, and other coating imperfections.


• Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.


• Complete quality documentation and inspection records accurately.


• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.


• Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector role within a manufacturing environment.


• No need to have previous experience inspecting in powder coating


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects.


• Understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques.


• Ability to read and follow specifications, drawings, and work instructions.


• Good communication and organisational skills.


• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
