Wireperson (Short term Assignment - 3 Months)

Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week
Flexible Start Time Between 7:30am and 9:00am, Monday to Friday
Temporary Contract 3 Months – with the view could possibly be extended


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Wireperson to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Milton Keynes on a 3-month temporary assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in control panel wiring and mechanical assembly who is looking for a hands-on role within a professional engineering environment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Mechanical assembly and build of electrical control panels.

  • Wiring and fitting components to control panels and associated equipment.

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.

  • Installing and connecting electrical components accurately to specification.

  • Conducting quality checks to ensure builds meet company and customer standards.

  • Working from engineering drawings, build instructions and technical documentation.

  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

  • Supporting production targets while ensuring high levels of workmanship.


Skills & Experience Required:



  • Previous experience as a Wireperson, Panel Wirer, or similar electrical assembly role.

  • Proven experience mechanically building and wiring control panels.

  • Ability to confidently read and interpret schematic drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good practical and problem-solving skills.
