Celebrating excellence at Wild Recruitment

Every year, we look forward to pausing for a moment and giving a proper shout-out to our hard-working team who truly keep Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates and First Recruitment Services, running smoothly day to day.
Michelle Merritt said: “It’s no secret that this year has brought its share of challenges - market uncertainty, shifting client demands, and economic headwinds have tested us all. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to our people.
Last month, we brought our teams together in Brighton for a workshop that was as energising, as it was inspiring. It was more than just a change of scenery - it was a chance to reconnect, recharge, and refocus. Through a series of team-building exercises, our people worked closely to solve problems, share ideas, and strengthen the bonds that make our culture so special.
During our workshop we took the opportunity to celebrate our team and personal Award winners, including ‘Board Recognition’, ‘Outstanding Business Support’, ‘Star Performer’, and ‘Wild Newcomer’. We also took the opportunity to share our vision for the future. Despite the tough market, we remain optimistic and forward-looking. We reinforced our values and reminded ourselves why we do what we do; to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and candidates, and to build a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.
The energy and enthusiasm at the workshop were a powerful reminder that even in challenging times, there is so much to salute. Our people have shown resilience, creativity, and a relentless drive to succeed, and that deserves recognition.
As we look ahead, we do so with confidence. The road may not be easy, but with the strength of our team and the clarity of our purpose, we’re ready for whatever comes next.
Here’s to our incredible staff - thank you for everything you’ve achieved this year. Let’s keep building together.”
Group Managing Director, Chris Chown, spoke about the ups and downs of 2024, as well as the fantastic achievements of the teams across the four brands. He said: “Whilst 2024 was definitely a challenging year for recruitment businesses we still found good reason to hand out over 60 awards in recognition of our fantastic teams, managers, consultants, business support and central support services colleagues. Well done to all the award winners and we wish everyone continued success in 2025.”
Congratulations to all our winners across Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates and First Recruitment, as well as Berry Recruitment Group. Looking ahead to the rest of 2025 and into 2026, we’re excited for what is to come across the group.
