Michelle Stewart Talks Employee Retention

Category: Company

Our Managing Director, Michelle Stewart was called upon last week to discuss with BBC South Today in their Barnbrook Story, her take on employee retention in today's society.

Throughout her working career, particularly as Managing Director, Michelle Stewart recognises 'people rarely leave for money'.

During a recent interview with the BBC, Michelle explained, for most, it's much more than about money. Instead people leave their job because 'they are not clear on the company's visions and where the company is going'.

Michelle also highlighted the fact that people now care much more about 'career progression and personal development' and that those are the things company leaders should be focusing on if they wish to lower turnover and retain their high quality employees.
